Who Do I Think the Next James Bond Should Be?

It might shock you

I am a big fan of Daniel Craig’s James Bond movies, despite not always being convinced he is James Bond. He looks more like a personal trainer who has a brutal streak. A bit different from the likes of Connery and Moore who were smoother and more charismatic.

Maybe Craig’s version is more realistic for a secret agent who has to fight his way through hardened criminals so needed to spend more time lifting in the gym.

A fan favorite for the role for quite some time is Venom and Batman Star, Tom Hardy. I don't think that will happen now, as he is already a household name. Bond usually goes to an actor who is not already established. This probably roles Idris Elba out too.

I am here to suggest an alternative route and go for someone who isn't a professional actor.

Not only does he brutally knock people out like Daniel Craig, but he also has a beer belly, bald head, and appeals to the regular un-chiseled guy out there. He wears flashy suits with his own face on them. How’s that for confidence.

Being from Manchester, he also speaks with a northern accent. James Bond is a Global Brand that hits audiences all over the world like no other British Franchise (OK, apart from Harry Potter). Wouldnt it be great for people overseas to get exposed to other dialects aside from the “Queen’s English”.

I can see it. The 6ft9 giant downing a few jager bombs before taking down the world's worst criminals. And calling them big dossers in the process.

I think it would be a hilarious take on the iconic character personally. But let’s be honest, it is never gonna happy.
