Do we like people who have similar taste and thoughts or we prefer people who can provide a different view to our thoughts and yet complement us in some way? Do we end up with similar kind of people…
Allergies, I thought. Allergies, others agreed.
Nope. Sick.
The thing about moving to Las Vegas a few years ago was introduction to allergies. Never had them before. I mean I’d have a little stuffiness around springtime when everything would bloom, but desert living brings an entirely new experience — all new pollens and wind, lots of wind.
So when I was a little itchy scratchy stuffy on Saturday I didn’t think much of it. Blustery winds combined with that super late night/screaming at hockey game on Friday, I figured it would pass.
Anyway, the point of bringing this up is simple — I feel like crap. The good news is that reading makes me feel better. Such a delight to luxuriate in bed, surrounded by the Sunday NY Times and stacks of books, snacking on one thing, then another, then dozing, then reading some more. If only I didn’t feel like I had a ton of bricks sitting on my chest.
Guess you can’t have everything.
